Background
Edutech was established in 1984. It specialises
in Computer Assisted Learning (CAL) Programme
for schools, and it has more than 23 years of
experience in this industry. Through wisdom and
experiences, Edutech has succeeded in producing
a complete set of courseware for the Chinese Smart
Schools (100% in accordance with the Malaysian
Ministry Of Education’s syllabus). Edutech has
branches all over Malaysia to support its computer
education programme. It has a proven track record
in providing a total CAL solution to Malaysian
Schools and Kindergartens incorporating hardware,
software, courseware and support, as well as IT
maintenance services.
Edutech also has vast experience and skills
in providing IT consultancy, computerized teaching-learning
materials, IT training for teachers and students,
IT pedagogy training for teachers, educational
resource materials development, web portal services
and CAL curriculum for kindergartens, primary
schools and secondary schools.
Currently there are more than 300 primary and
secondary schools, more than 100 Chinese Smart
Schools and more than 150 kindergartens under
our CAL Programme or/and IT services, with a
student enrolment of more than 300,000.

The principal activities of Edutech Computer Centre
(M) Sdn. Bhd. are implementing the CAL Programme,
providing IT training for teachers, developing
educational resource materials, planning the CAL
curriculum and providing management services to
Primary Schools (SJK(C)) as well as Secondary
Schools nationwide.

The principal activities of Educhild Sdn. Bhd.
are to provide CAL programme and IT consultancy
to kindergartens nationwide. It provides training,

CAL Programme nationwide.

Chinese Smart School Management Sdn. Bhd. plays
a major role in implementing the Chinese Smart
School Programme in primary schools (Sekolah Jenis
Kebangsaan Cina) nationwide. It provides total
solution in assisting primary schools to automate
their school system (computerised school administration
system, teaching-learning system, etc.), givingconsultation
on the pedagogy model and provides training for
the teaching-learning system with computerized
materials and supplying the computerised teaching-learning
materials.
